Bottom line first: I gathered 97 pop-ups open in Seoul and the nearby Gyeonggi area this week (10/12~10/18), and 49 of them are character, toy or family pop-ups that work with kids.
15 open this week, and 33 close before the week is out.
Counting only the kid pop-ups, Hongdae has the most with 13, then Seongsu with 9. (9 of those 13 in Hongdae are inside one building, AK PLAZA Hongdae..)

A Yu-Gi-Oh! pop-up also opens on 10/15 at Dopamine Station on the same 3F, so if your kids are into different things, one trip to Yongsan covers both.
Crayon Shin-chan Exhibition: Space-Time Adventure (짱구는 못말려 전시 : 시공간 대모험) Opens this week

Atashin’chi Pop-Up: Come Over to Our House (아따맘마) Ends this week

You walk around the UNICEF Garden inside Seoul Forest solving Detective Snoopy missions, and if you crack the case you get a gift, limited quantity, first come first served.

Route: Snoopy (273 Ttukseom-ro) and Dragon Ball (403 Ttukseom-ro) are on the Ttukseom-ro side; Toy Story, the Shin-chan exhibition and Mamma Ham Store are on the Yeonmujang-gil / Seoulsup-gil side.
Toy Story and Mamma Ham Store open at 12 noon, so going in the morning means a wasted trip.

Goyang City’s hands-on flower pop-up, ‘Blooming Planet’. News articles say there are photo zones, a pet area and one-day flower arranging.
Flower arranging looks like nice hands-on play for kids.

I’ve bundled 48 fashion, beauty, exhibition and food pop-ups into a short table.
12 general pop-ups whose dates I couldn’t find in an official notice (the NIJISANJI and Path to Nowhere collab cafes, BLACKUP, Reusiseu (르시스) and so on) are left out this week.
If you’re bringing kids, the free Coreana Cosmetic Museum exhibition is about the safest of these, but of all things it’s closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
(Only doable on a weekday daycare pickup run, I guess.)

What should you know before taking kids to a pop-up?
Days off differ from place to place.
The Baeknyeonhwapyeon pop-up at Lotte Department Store Jamsil is closed 10/12(Mon), and Deungdeungtteurak at Gongeopsa and the Secret Book Fair at Q&A Room (큐엔에이룸) are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
The Coreana Cosmetic Museum is the opposite: closed Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
USAHANA is the trickiest to book.
Sun~Thu is on-site reservation; Fri, Sat and holidays take on-site reservations plus Naver advance booking, and 1 person can register up to 2 people.
The Look Back pop-up needs advance application, Yunseul is 100% advance reservation, and ZIGZAG Express is booked through the app.
For most of the other kid pop-ups, the official posts didn’t say anything about reservations.
Hmm.. on a weekend, it’s probably fair to expect some kind of line.
Opening times are all over the place too.
Toy Story (12:00~21:00) and Mamma Ham Store (12:00~20:00) open at noon, while IPARK Mall opens at 10:30, going by the places that list hours.
If you’re heading out in the morning, it’s better to do Yongsan or the department-store pop-ups first.
USAHANA is a cashless store. If you send your kid to the counter with only their pocket-money cash, it gets awkward. (Bring at least one card.)

If I had to pick a few: the Moomin pop-up at Yongsan IPARK Mall opening 10/12(Mon), the Crayon Shin-chan exhibition in Seongsu opening 10/17(Sat), the Atashin’chi pop-up in Hongdae ending 10/18(Sun), and the Detective Snoopy mission in Seoul Forest.
How much are tickets for the Crayon Shin-chan exhibition?
I still haven’t found the ticket price or where to book in an official notice.

Shugo Chara! (10/16~10/29, 1F), the Detective Conan exhibition (08/12~11/29, 4F), Yondo Stationery (09/11~12/06, 3F), Kuroko’s Basketball (10/15~11/10, 4F), the Jujutsu Kaisen collab cafe (09/23~12/01, 3F), Damoyeo Festa (~10/13, 4F) and Good Smile Company (~10/15).
The Madoka animate cafe and the REBORN pop-up are in the same building too, but their dates need official confirmation.
Do you need a reservation for the USAHANA pop-up?
Sun~Thu is on-site reservation; Fri, Sat and holidays take both on-site reservations and Naver advance booking.
1 person can register up to 2 people, and it’s a cashless store. Hours are Sun~Thu 10:30~20:30, Fri, Sat and holidays 10:30~21:00.
Is there an admission fee for the Snoopy pop-up in Seoul Forest?
The official post says nothing about admission.
The dates are 09/10(Thu)~11/16(Mon), and the venue is the UNICEF Garden inside Seoul Forest, 273 Ttukseom-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
The gifts for solving the missions are limited quantity, first come first served.
Where is the ZONFRIENDS pop-up?
The PEACEMINUSONE daisy × ZONFRIENDS flower footprints collab pop-up runs 10/16(Fri)~10/25(Sun) at two places: Lotte World Mall in Jamsil (300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul) and K-POP SQUARE Hongdae (141 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul).
Are any pop-ups closed on Mondays?
