π Last Updated: 2026-10-05 | Popply detail pages checked 10/4, as of 10/5
Bottom line first: I narrowed late-October Seoul pop-ups for kids down to 15. 7 are new ones opening after 10/12 that are worth a trip with kids, and 8 are character pop-ups already open that run past the end of October.
If you only pick one, make it the Crayon Shin-chan exhibition in Seongsu-dong, opening 10/17.

Which Seoul pop-ups open after 10/12?
Of the pop-ups opening between 10/12 and the end of October, I kept only the ones worth going to with kids.
Plenty of fan-oriented collab pop-ups like Path to Nowhere, Tamon-kun and StelLive also open around this time, but I left them out by the “bringing kids” standard.
1. Crayon Shin-chan Exhibition: Space-Time Adventure
π
2026.10.17 (Sat)~2027.01.24 (Sun)
π 9-29 Yeonmujang 5-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul (address in the notice text: 302-23 Seongsu-dong 2-ga)
β° Daily 10:00~20:00
An interactive exhibition where the Kasukabe Defense Force gets swept up in space and time. Popply describes it as a “first in Korea.”
It runs for over three months, so you can safely skip the opening weekend. (Just picturing that first-weekend line… tiring.)
I couldn’t find the ticket price in the notice yet.
2. Moomin Pop-Up
π
10/12 (Mon)~11/01 (Sun) | π Dopamine Station, Living Park 3F, I’Park Mall, 55 Hangang-daero 23-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
β° Daily 10:30~22:00
The Moomin pop-up moving over to Yongsan after Shinsegae. They say it’s bringing new products. It’s inside I’Park Mall, so it’s an easy pick for a rainy day.
3. Yu-Gi-Oh! Pop-Up
π
10/15 (Thu)~10/21 (Wed)
π Dopamine Station, Yongsan I’Park Mall 3F, 55 Hangang-daero 23-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
β° Daily 10:30~22:00
It’s on for just 7 days. If you have an elementary schooler who plays the card game, pencil in a Yongsan trip that week.
There’s only one weekend in there, 10/17~10/18.
4. Shugo Chara! Pop-Up
π
10/16 (Fri)~10/29 (Thu) | π AK Plaza Hongdae 1F, 188 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
β° Mon~Fri 11:00~22:00 / Sat~Sun 10:30~22:00
The notice mentions angel and devil photo zones and around 300 kinds of merch. Honestly, this name will make parents happier than kids.
5. Kuroko’s Basketball Pop-Up
π
10/15 (Thu)~11/10 (Tue)
π LIMITION, AK Plaza Hongdae 4F, 188 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
β° Mon~Fri 11:00~22:00 / Sat~Sun 10:30~22:00
A basketball anime pop-up. Better for older elementary kids and up who watch anime than for little ones.
The Shugo Chara pop-up, the Conan exhibition and Yeondo Stationery are all in the same building, so it’s easy to do them together.
6. PEACH-PIT 25th Anniversary Special Exhibition
π
10/24 (Sat)~11/29 (Sun)
π Popcorn D Square, I’Park Mall Yongsan 6F, 55 Hangang-daero 23-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
β° Mon~Fri 10:30~20:30 / Sat~Sun 10:30~21:00
An original-art exhibition for the 25th anniversary of the debut of the artists behind Shugo Chara! and Rozen Maiden.
All it says is that exhibition and ticket details will be announced in stages.
7. Netflix 10th Anniversary Pop-Up: Netflix Feast
π
10/24 (Sat)~10/25 (Sun)
π Oil Tank Culture Park, 87 Jeungsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
β° Sat~Sun 11:00~20:00
Not a character pop-up. But it’s a free event held over a weekend in an outdoor park, so I put it in.
The 2nd batch of free tickets opens 10/5 (Mon) at 10 a.m. (as of 10/5).
If any are left, search “λ·νμμΉ” (Netflix Feast) on Naver Map and book through the reservation page. The notice didn’t say whether there are programs for kids.
Which kids’ character pop-ups run through the end of October?
These are already open but continue past 10/31, so there’s no rush. Only Atashin’chi ends on 10/18, so move that one up your list.
Detective Snoopy’s Lost Clues in the UNICEF Garden
π
09/10~11/16 (Mon)
π Seoul Forest, 273 Ttukseom-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul (near J-Hope Forest)
β° Daily 12:00~19:00
An outdoor pop-up where you walk around Seoul Forest solving Detective Snoopy missions.
Solve the case and you get a gift like an eco bag or sticker pack, but quantities are limited and it’s first come, first served.
The missions are about children’s rights, so it looks like a good one to do with elementary schoolers.
It opens at 12 p.m., so start with a morning walk in the forest.
Toy Story Pop-Up: House of Toy Story
π
09/04~10/31 (Sat)
π +LECT HOUSE, 8-9 Yeonmujang 3-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
β° Daily 12:00~21:00
A Toy Story pop-up that takes up floors 1 through 4. There are life-size character photo zones.
It ends Saturday 10/31, so the window for pairing it with the Shin-chan exhibition (from 10/17) on the same day in Seongsu is a little over 2 weeks.
Dragon Ball Heroes Rise Seoul
π
08/22~11/15 (Sun)
π STAGE X Seongsu 403, 403 Ttukseom-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
β° Daily 11:00~21:00
An exhibition of character statues and recreated anime scenes, with hands-on content added.
They sold early-bird tickets before opening, so it’s safe to assume you need a ticket to get in. (I couldn’t confirm the price.)
Detective Conan Exhibition
π
08/12~11/29 (Sun) | π AK Plaza Hongdae 4F, 188 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
β° Mon~Fri 11:00~22:00 / Sat~Sun 10:30~22:00
An exhibition for the 30th anniversary of the TV anime. If your kid watches Conan, add it whenever you head to AK Plaza Hongdae.
Yeondo Stationery Pop-Up: Space Station Store
π
09/11~12/06 (Sun)
π AK Plaza Hongdae 3F, 188 Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
β° Mon~Fri 11:00~22:00 / Sat~Sun 10:30~22:00
A stationery pop-up with Nagano Bear, Chiikawa and Tamagotchi goods. Spend 10,000 won or more and you get 1 sticker, while supplies last.
It runs into December, so this one has the most breathing room.
Madeby Γ Mamma Ham Store Pop-Up @ Seongsu
π
09/08~11/04 (Wed)
π Madeby Seongsu, 38 Seoulsup-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
β° Daily 12:00~20:00
A pop-up styled as a grocery store run by hamster characters.
The dates field on Popply says 11/05, but the notice on the same page says the Seongsu store runs until 11/4, and 11/5 is the end date for the Daejeon store.
So I went with 11/4 here. On the last day, the pop-up only runs until 3 hours before the store closes.
Gunyangi Γ Madeby Pop-Up
π
09/07~11/05 (Thu)
π Madeby Hongdae, 11 Yeonhui-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
β° Daily 11:00~22:00
A pop-up featuring Gunyangi, Somjji and Gamjatteok dressed up as lucky delivery couriers.
It’s in the same Hongdae area, so it fits on the same day as AK Plaza Hongdae.
Atashin’chi Pop-Up: Come Over to Our House
π
09/22~10/18 (Sun)
π Sangsangmadang Design Square, 65 Eoulmadang-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
β° Daily 11:00~21:00
It’s a family comic, so it’s an easy character to enjoy together with kids. This is the first one on this list to close.
Sunday 10/18 is the last day, so if you’re going to Hongdae, put this near the front of your plans.
If you can only take your kids to one, which is better?
For preschoolers to early elementary, the Snoopy one at Seoul Forest looks like the safe bet.
It’s outdoors, so lines are less stressful, and you get a gift for solving the missions.
For elementary schoolers and up who love Shin-chan, the Shin-chan exhibition is the No. 1 pick.
The catch: it’s a hands-on exhibition just opening on 10/17, so prices and booking haven’t been announced.
It’s safer to check the notice once more before it opens.
If your kid is into the card game or anime, lock in the short ones first, like Yu-Gi-Oh! (10/15~10/21). The long-running ones can wait until November.
What’s a good route to hit several at once?
Seongsu (10/17~10/31) The Shin-chan exhibition, the Toy Story pop-up, the Dragon Ball exhibition and the Madeby Ham Store are all in Seongsu-dong, and the Snoopy garden in Seoul Forest isn’t far.
After the Shin-chan exhibition opens and before the Toy Story pop-up closes, in other words 10/17~10/31, is when the Seongsu route is at its fullest.
AK Plaza Hongdae (188 Yanghwa-ro) The Conan exhibition (4F), Kuroko’s Basketball (4F), Yeondo Stationery (3F) and Shugo Chara! (1F) are all in one building.
To catch all of them including Shugo Chara, go between 10/16 and 10/29.
Add Madeby Hongdae (Gunyangi) or Design Square (Atashin’chi, until 10/18) nearby and you have a half-day course.
Yongsan I’Park Mall (55 Hangang-daero 23-gil) Moomin (10/12~), Yu-Gi-Oh! (10/15~10/21) and the PEACH-PIT special exhibition (10/24~) are in the same mall.
There’s no day when all three overlap.. (a bit of a shame)
That’s because Yu-Gi-Oh! ends 10/21 and PEACH-PIT opens 10/24. Moomin + Yu-Gi-Oh! overlap 10/15~10/21, and Moomin + PEACH-PIT overlap 10/24~11/1.
π Good to Know Before Taking Kids to Pop-Ups
β’ The first weekend after opening is the most crowded. For long-running ones, weekdays from the second week on are better.
β’ First-come gifts (the Snoopy mission gift, the Yeondo Stationery sticker) are limited, so they may be gone if you go late.
β’ Strollers can be a pain in the Seongsu back streets. Inside the malls (I’Park Mall, AK Plaza) it’s easier.
β’ Hours differ by place. The Snoopy garden, Toy Story and Madeby Seongsu open at 12 p.m. Go to Seongsu in the morning and not much will be open.

βΉοΈ This post is based on public information from Popply pop-up store detail pages, and is updated when details change.
Pop-ups open this week (10/5~10/11) are rounded up in a separate post (61 pop-ups for October week 2), and nothing in that post is repeated here.
Fair warning: I haven’t been to any of these yet. (So no photos from the site either.)
Dates, addresses and hours are copied straight from the Popply detail pages, and I only listed admission fees or bookings where the notice clearly says so.
