Short version first: there’s no big Olive Young sale this week (October 5–11).
As of October 4, none of the event or sale pages on the Olive Young online store listed an Olive Young Sale or Olive Young Day for this period.
If you were waiting for a sale, you can skip this week. What is on instead are two character collabs kids will like.
Daiso has new arrivals in, like Tobot V robots and Halloween bits and pieces. The Toys”R”Us toy event ends on October 11 (Sun), so this is its last week.
Hangul Day (October 9) falls in the middle of the week, so I’ve added Hangul play stationery too.
Last updated: 2026-10-04 | Period: October 5 (Mon) – 11 (Sun), 2026

No sale at Olive Young, so what collabs are on?
Anpanman collab “Our Brave Hero, Anpanman, to the Rescue!” (10/1~10/31)
This promotion dresses everything up in Anpanman, from snacks to hygiene items like mouthwash and hand wash, plus popcorn buckets, plush keyrings and storage boxes.
Here are the prices the online store showed on October 4.
- Crown Couque D’asse Anpanman 111g 3,500 won → 2,580 won
- Caramel Corn Croissant 60g 1,700 won → 1,360 won
- Lotte Mon Cher Anpanman special pack 3,500 won → from 2,800 won
- Sikmulnara antibacterial bubble hand wash 6,500 won → from 4,390 won
- TENBYTEN Anpanman popcorn bucket 24,000 won → 19,900 won
These are prices for the online store and Oneul Dream (same-day delivery). I couldn’t confirm whether stores carry the same items.
That said, a good chunk of the collab items are beauty products for adults. (Not everything with Anpanman on it is for kids..)
If you’re browsing with your child, start with the snacks and the popcorn bucket above.
Olive Young exclusive character collabs (10/1~11/30)
A promotion that gathers Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll and My Melody, plus Pokémon and Mangeureojin Gom (망그러진 곰) items.
The ones that work as kids’ stuff are these.
- TENBYTEN Pokémon plush keyrings (4 types) 18,000 won → from 15,800 won
- Siliman Pokémon silicone foldable cup 150ml 11,600 won → from 8,500 won
- Fillimilli Pokémon Edition 6,000 won → from 4,900 won
If you have a Pokémon fan, the silicone foldable cup is the one that stands out. There’s no Crayon Shin-chan or Disney collab in this promotion.
(If your family is after Shin-chan, the Daiso Character Shop below is the better bet)

October Olive Young PICK and Today’s Special
Olive Young PICK is Olive Young’s own selection of October brand deals and gifts-with-purchase. It’s listed as valid both in the app and in stores.
Today’s Special swaps its products every day. So there’s no way to know in advance what will come up this week.
On October 4, Today’s Special was showing 16–48% off.
How much are Daiso’s Tobot V, Halloween and Hangul stationery?
Daiso isn’t running a discount here; these are new arrivals at regular price. Stock differs by branch.
If you’re going with your kid, it’s better to check store stock in the Daiso Mall app first.
New arrivals, week 1 of October (posted 10/1)
- Tobot V Lightning, Captain Jack, Silverhawk and Leo Kaiser robot toys, 5,000 won each
- Foam-board gas station set (with 2 cars) 2,000 won
- Snoopy embroidered open-toe indoor slippers 5,000 won
If your kid loves Tobot, these robots are the main event at Daiso this week.
RC sports cars and bubble toys
3 RC sports cars
Dodge Challenger, Chevrolet Chevelle, Porsche 911 GT3 RS · 5,000 won each
But on October 4, the Dodge and the Chevrolet were temporarily sold out.
Also out now:
Battery bubble princess wand
5,000 won
Battery bubble play set
3,000 won

- Ghost LED bracelet 1,000 won
- Witch hat hair clips, 2-pack 1,000 won

Daiso Mall doesn’t have a separate Halloween promotion page. You have to find things through search.
(This part is a bit annoying)
Search “Halloween” on Daiso Mall
Hangul play stationery for Hangul Day, and “Traditional Charm”
This isn’t a Hangul Day promotion.
But there’s Hangul play stationery on regular sale:
Pororo My Child’s First Sticker Play Book (Hangul)
3,000 won
Soft magnetic Hangul play set
3,000 won
Elementary 8-square writing notebooks (10-pack)
5,000 won
Hangul and number masking tape

For kids’ stationery, the soft magnetic Hangul set is the one that catches my eye.
The traditional-pattern series “Traditional Charm” has:
Pixel-art DIY keyring
1,000 won
Bead curtain DIY set
5,000 won
Brush pens (2-pack)
1,000 won
The traditional-line stickers (4 sheets, 1,000 won) go on sale on October 5 (Mon) at 14:00.

Is this the last week of Happy Toys”R”Us Day? (~10/11)
Yes. The last day is October 11 (Sun).
It’s a toy event held twice a year, with discounts by category on LEGO, Pokémon, Hello Carbot and Tobot, Teenieping, Sylvanian Families and board games.
The benefit listed on the official page is 10,000 won off when you pay 70,000 won or more with an event card.
I couldn’t find discount rates per item or whether it applies in physical stores on the official page, so I left them out.
(That’s the part I most wanted to know, and it isn’t there..) Lotte Mart ZETTA is also listed as running the same event.
If you were planning to buy toys, this is the week to decide.
Does E-Mart’s Gorae-it Festa run until 10/5 (Mon)?
E-Mart’s Gorae-it Festa, which started on October 1, ends on October 5 (Mon), a substitute holiday. For this week, that’s exactly one day.
New-crop sweet potatoes, 1 box of 1.5kg
5,980 won · 8,980 won for 2 boxes
Tangerines, Singo pears and mini apples
Extra 10% off when you buy 2 or more and pay with an event card
Seafood
Up to 50% off
Everything listed here is food, so it’s more of a grocery run than kids’ stuff.
Closing days can differ by store, so check before you go.
What does Kyobo Book Centre’s Hangul Day Project give you? (~10/31)
To mark the 100th Hangul Day, it brings together books recommended by authors and Hangul goods.
Buy 40,000 won or more in books at a store and you get one of 3 Hangul notebooks.
In the Seoul area, the Gwanghwamun, Gangnam, Jamsil and Yeongdeungpo branches take part, and it ends when they run out.
That said, the recommended books are mostly adult literature. If you were hoping for a children’s book event, this one is a bit of a stretch.
