Looking for places to take the kids in Goyang, Paju, Gimpo or Incheon? This list covers the first week of October 2026 (Sep 28–Oct 4). The Goyang Autumn Flower Festival (Oct 1–11, Ilsan Lake Park, free) opens this week, and around National Foundation Day (Oct 3) there are two free festivals in Incheon: the Bupyeong Pungmul Festival and the Soraepogu Festival (both Oct 2–4). It’s the last week for the Ganghwa Goryeo Palace Site media art show (until Oct 4, free, evenings), and the World Butterfly Exhibition (until Nov 1) is still on. That’s a little over 10 events this week. We’ve also included year-round spots like Goyang Children’s Museum, Aquaplanet Ilsan and Incheon Children’s Science Museum. Updated weekly.

Goyang Children’s Museum, Ilsan Lake Park and One Mount Waterpark are the go-to spots. Seasonal festivals are held often too, so check this page for what’s on right now.
Is Heyri Village in Paju good for kids?
Yes. Heyri Art Village has lots of galleries, cafés and hands-on craft workshops close together, so it makes a good half-day outing with kids. Every September during the PAN Festival, there are free performances, exhibitions and an art market.
Where can I go with kids for free in Incheon?
Incheon Children’s Science Museum, the Incheon Landing Operation Memorial Hall and the Chinatown cultural performances are free. Wolmido and Songdo Central Park are also popular free places for a walk.
