I was looking for a headset for my child’s tablet and ended up buying the DRGO BH10CK kids Bluetooth headphones. They have 85dB hearing protection and carry the KTC children’s product safety certification, so I felt comfortable choosing them.
Why I Picked These
The most important thing when choosing a headset for kids is hearing protection. Children often don’t notice when something is too loud, so a headset with a capped maximum volume is a must. Under the WHO recommendation, 85dB or below is the safe level for children, and the BH10CK caps its maximum output at 85dB to match.
On top of that, it has KTC (Korea Testing Certification) children’s safety certification, so the materials have been checked for safety too. Since it sits directly on a child’s head, this is the kind of certification worth checking before you buy.

Design & Colors
There are three colors: blue, pink and white. A bunny character sits on the outside of each ear cup, and it has an LED inside that gives off a soft glow when switched on. Kids like the headphones even more because of that LED. The overall pastel look works for any child, and the surface is smooth, with nothing for little hands to catch on.
Pros
- 27-hour battery – At 1–2 hours a day, you can go more than two weeks without charging. No battery worries on long trips.
- Wireless and wired – Bluetooth is the default, but you can also plug in an AUX cable. Even if the battery dies, you can plug in the cable and keep using them, which is handy in a pinch.
- 85dB hearing protection – Even if your child turns the volume all the way up, it won’t go past 85dB, so you don’t have to worry.
- Light to wear – They’re over-ear but not heavy, so kids don’t complain even after wearing them for a long time.
- The LED is cute – From a child’s point of view, this is the biggest plus. Thanks to the glowing bunny, kids want to put them on by themselves.
Cons & Things to Know
- The mic is just okay – If you plan to use them for online classes, the mic quality may fall short. For watching videos or listening to music, they’re fine.
- The LED drains the battery faster – With the LED on the whole time, you won’t get 27 hours. It’s better to keep it off most of the time.
- They don’t fold – Because they can’t be folded for storage, they take up some room in a bag. Buying the option with a pouch makes them easier to carry.
Who They’re Best For
They suit kids who watch a lot of videos on a tablet best. When your child watches a tablet in public places like restaurants, cafés, planes or the KTX (Korea’s high-speed train), a headset is a must if you don’t want to bother the people around you, and the BH10CK is a great fit because it’s light and protects their hearing.
The main target is preschool to early elementary kids. The headband length is adjustable, so it fits different head sizes. Keep in mind that for very young children (under 3), an over-ear headset itself may feel too big.
Compared with Other Kids’ Headsets
| Item | DRGO BH10CK | JBL Jr310BT | BuddyPhones Play+ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | About 29,800 KRW | About 49,000 KRW | About 55,000 KRW |
| Volume limit | 85dB | 85dB | 75/85/94dB selectable |
| Battery | 27 hours | 30 hours | 20 hours |
| Wireless/wired | Both | Wireless | Both |
| LED | Yes | No | No |
| Foldable | No | Yes | Yes |
It costs about half as much as JBL or BuddyPhones, yet has all the key features (85dB limit, Bluetooth, wired option). Kids may actually react better to the LED and the bunny character. For value for money, the BH10CK wins; if you want a more trusted brand or a foldable, easy-to-carry design, JBL is the better choice.
Where to Buy
Search “DRGO BH10CK” (in Korean: 디알고 BH10CK) on Coupang and it comes right up. There are two options: with a pouch (29,800 KRW) and headphones only (27,800 KRW). If you’ll use them when you’re out and about, I recommend the one with the pouch. You can also buy them from the DRGO official online store (dr-go.co.kr).
