A lot of people are waiting for the Olive Young Sale.
Unfortunately, there’s no Olive Young Sale in October.
According to Olive Young’s official newsroom, it runs in March, June, September and December,
so the next one is in December. (Dates haven’t been announced yet.)
Instead, there are Anpanman and Pokémon/Sanrio collaboration promotions running this month,
and quite a few things caught my eye for families with kids.
Here are just 5 picks.

1. Anpanman Snacks
Monshell (몽쉘) Anpanman edition 3,500 won → from 2,800 won
The packaging has Anpanman on it, so it’s an easy snack to pick up for kids.
Caramel Corn Croissant (1,700 won → 1,360 won)
and Couque D’asse Raspberry (3,500 won → 2,780 won) are also on sale.

2. Shingmulnara Antibacterial Bubble Hand Wash
6,500 won → from 4,500 won
It comes out as foam, which helps with kids who don’t like washing their hands.
It’s part of the same Anpanman promotion.
3. Siliman Pokémon Silicone Foldable Cup
11,600 won → from 8,500 won (150ml)
It folds flat, so it’s easy to carry in a diaper bag or day bag.
For a kid who loves Pikachu, it might even help them drink a bit more water.

4. Character Plush Keychains
Sanrio Rainy Day 16,000 won → from 12,900 won
Plush keychains to hang on a bag.
Pokémon keychains (18,000 won → from 15,800 won)
and Mangeureojingom (망그러진곰) keychains (17,000 won → from 15,300 won) are in the same promotion.
5. A Hello Kitty Sunscreen for Mom
Shingmulnara Hello Kitty Tone-Up Moisture Sunscreen 9,800 won → from 5,000 won
This one isn’t for kids, it’s for mom.
It’s nearly half price, so it’s a decent thing to add to the cart.
There’s also a daily “Today’s Special”
The Olive Young app has a daily deal called “Oteuk” (Today’s Special) that changes every day.
Items are revealed day by day, so you can’t know them in advance,
but opening the app once in the morning is enough.
