Teenieping World Pangyo — Played Free for an Hour

티니핑월드 판교 광장 무대 전경 하츄핑 로미 캐릭터 컷아웃

I heard there’s a Teenieping theme park at Pames Mall in Pangyo, so we went on a Saturday morning. The combo ticket runs 25,000 KRW for kids on weekdays, 30,000 KRW on weekends — but we didn’t buy tickets at all, just wandered the free plaza. And we still played for an hour, spending 0 won. If your kid is a Teenieping superfan, you could easily spend half a day here. If your kids are more like ours — “who’s Hatchuping?” level — checking out the plaza plus one show is plenty.

Where Is Teenieping World Pangyo?

A taxi from Pangyo Station takes about 10–12 minutes and costs around 7,300 KRW. But since parking is free for 4 hours, driving is actually the better call. The building itself is huge so parking is plentiful. It spans B1 to 1F of Pames Mall — the ticket booth opens at 10, entry starts at 10:30. It’s closed on Tuesdays, so double-check the day if you’re planning a weekday visit.

Both P1 and P2 parking lots work, but P2 (B2, B4, B5 levels) is closer to the Pames Mall 2 building where Teenieping World is. You’ll need to self-register your license plate, and you get 4 hours free. Past that, it’s 2,000 KRW per 30 minutes.

There are two ways to settle up: ① if you booked a ticket, you’ll get a parking discount QR code via KakaoTalk that you scan at the unmanned kiosk, or ② show your receipt at the info desk.

What Can You Do Without a Ticket?

More than I expected. We spent an hour there without a ticket and never got bored.

Free stuff:

  • Watching plaza shows (sing-along, Hop! Raindrop Party, Behind Story Season 2)
  • Kkangtchongping greeting (right before the 10:25 opening)
  • Watching character cosplay dance performances
  • Browsing the goods store
  • Photo zones (in the plaza)

Requires a ticket:

  • EmotionCastle (paid exhibition hall)
  • Seating inside the performance hall (you have to stand if you’re in the plaza)
  • Interactive corners (wristband checked)
  • Royal Boutique (costume experience)

The plaza was bigger than I expected, so standing wasn’t uncomfortable. Kids who bought tickets and kids who are just browsing mix together freely — wristbands only get checked at the interactive corners.

What’s the August Timetable Like?

Weekend (the day we went):

Time Program Location
10:25 Greeting Plaza
11:00 Teenieping Sing-along Plaza
12:00 Behind Story Season 2 Performance hall
13:30 Teenieping Sing-along Plaza
14:00 Hop! Raindrop Party Performance hall
15:00 Behind Story Season 2 Performance hall
15:30 Teenieping Sing-along Plaza
16:30 Hop! Raindrop Party Performance hall
17:30 Special Greeting —

Performance hall programs require a ticket. Plaza programs can be watched standing for free, but if you want to actually participate (missions or photo zones), they check your ticket wristband.

Right before opening around 10:25, Kkangtchongping came out to greet everyone and did a short show. It only lasted about 5 minutes, so keep expectations modest — but it was decent for a free space.

What’s in the Goods Store?

Mostly Hatchuping character merchandise — plush toys, figures, stationery, dresses, tiaras, and more. Custom name tags cost 10,000 KRW and take about 10 minutes after payment. Since they’re custom items, no exchanges or refunds.

There’s also a separate robot toy section that boys tend to like.

You don’t need a ticket to get in. Name tags run 5,000 KRW, plus Teenieping dolls, stationery, and so on. Honestly, the prices are pretty steep. Once your kid says “buy me this,” it’s hard to say no, so it’s better to set a budget before you go in.

If you enter the paid zone with a ticket, the tour route naturally funnels into the gift shop at the end. The dolls, toys, and clothes are good enough quality that even adults might want to buy something — which is why the blog calls it “bankruptcy-ping.” A realistic strategy is to agree with your kid beforehand: “we’re just looking today” or “just one item.”

We only saw the free plaza, so we never went down the gift shop route. Total spent: 0 KRW.

Taking Two Kids — Our Experience

Item First child Second child
Interest in Teenieping Familiar with it, but not obsessed Doesn’t really know it yet
Reaction on site Found the characters interesting, not very engaged Just tagged along with mom and dad
Reaction to shows Watched standing up Watched standing up
Time spent 1 hour was enough —

Our kids aren’t really into Teenieping, so we skipped the paid entry. We walked the plaza, watched one show, browsed the goods store, and left after 1 hour with 0 won spent. If we’d bought tickets, I think we’d have used 2–3 hours.

About 99% of the visiting kids were girls, and most were dressed as princesses in dresses. Our kids are familiar with Hatchuping but aren’t fixated on it specifically, so they mostly thought it was neat seeing a character from a video show up in real life.

For kids who love Teenieping, this is a place they could spend all day. For kids like ours who aren’t particularly into it, an hour browsing the plaza is just about right.

Things You’d Only Know From Being There

  • You can play for an hour without buying a ticket. The free plaza alone gets you shows, goods browsing, and character greetings — 0 won possible.
  • The 11 o’clock Romi cosplay dance was better quality than what we saw at the Lotte World Hatchuping event a few months back.
  • Pames Mall itself is pretty quiet. It felt underused relative to its size, so there was no waiting in line for anything.
  • There was a limited-time 20% “standard” discount running through August (until 8/31).
  • The show musical “Princess Catch! Teenieping” has its final Seoul run September 24–27 at the 1975 Theater.
  • The coloring corner is short on colored pencils. If your kid is serious about coloring, bring your own.
  • The gift shop connects automatically at the end of the paid zone. If you don’t agree with your kid beforehand on “just looking,” spending can explode. There’s a reason the blog calls it “bankruptcy-ping.”

Overall Verdict

Recommended for Not recommended for
Girls aged 3–7 who love Teenieping Kids with no interest in Teenieping
Kids who want to dress up and play princess Boys going solo (there is a robot corner, but still)
A quick stop at the free plaza Parents expecting a packed, substantial play experience
Combining with other errands at Pames Mall Traveling a long distance just for this

If your kid loves Teenieping, this is a half-day destination. Since the programs are split across different time slots, it’s worth checking the timetable ahead of time and planning your route. If your kid isn’t particularly interested in Teenieping like ours, just walking the plaza is enough. The dress-code discount (wear pink → 3,000 KRW off on weekdays) is fairly significant, so if you’re planning to go, dress your kid in pink.
